Kimberly Rau, B.Sc.,(KIN), C Ped(C) 

Kim began her career as the original associate of Pedorthic Services in 1986 and continues to practice in the Kitchener-Waterloo locations. She has an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo and completed her Canadian Pedorthics Certification in 1990. Kim is highly involved in the national Pedorthic Association of Canada (PAC). As a member of the Education Committee she played an integral role in establishing the Diploma in Pedorthics, a joint venture between PAC and the University of Western Ontario. Her involvement with the program is ongoing as she serves as a practicum supervisor training future pedorthists. Kim is a member of PAC’s Insurance and Government Relations Committee whose responsibilities are to educate these agencies in order to protect the public and to ensure continued support of the services offered by Canadian Certified Pedorthists. In addition, Kim works as a private consultant to the insurance industry.

With 23 years experience, Kim continues to contribute to the success of Pedorthic Services and the profession itself through teaching, involvement in research and by providing exceptional clinical services, conference presentations, lectures at educational institutions and seminars to the general public. She spends her spare time running and playing basketball and ultimate when she is not taxiing her 2 teenage sons to their various sporting events.
